The track (originally nicknamed "Mood Music") was first debuted at SXSW and was released last week with a brand new name and video.
"The Hills" still combines the usual sultry vocals you would expect from this guy, but the style and lyrics having seemingly matured. Although the references to taking drugs and "fucking bitches" are still made, the track is typically about more (queue "The hills have eyes" references).
If you're after that typical smoothness you get from The Weeknd, this track definitely delivers, but with a harsher base-line and beat backing up the track - you can rest assured you don't need to be a fan to fall in love with it.
